The First Russian Museum Photobiennale
Dear guests of our site!
“The First Museum Photobiennale” project is finished.
400 photographers from more than 80 cities of the Russian Federation had taken participation in the competition.
The final exhibition of “The First Museum Photobiennale” took part from November, 26 2009 to February, 16 2010 in the Marble Palace (5/1 Millionnaya str.) and included about 600 photos.
All the photos chosen for the participation in Photobiennale were accepted for the collection of the Russian Museum. A proper notification would be sent by post mail for each of the photographers.

Results of the competition:
3 prize-winners of “The First Museum Photobiennale” were appointed according to the jury’s decision:

The Russian Museum had instituted the special prize for the “People’s Choice Award” nomination on the grounds of the direct and electronic voting of visitors.
The following photographers were declared the best on the results of direct voting of visitors:

Special prizes from partners of the Photobiennale
UNIDENT Company and U-Art Cultural Charitable Foundation will handle the best (from their point of view) photographer Rustam Muhametzyanov (Kazan) the “U-ART: You and art” prize (sculptor Pata).
