The Russian Museum

The monographic exhibition, that is dedicated to the 120 jubilee of Vera Mukhina shows the retrospective of the many-sided art of the eminent Soviet sculptor: from the early projects to the monumental works by the mature master. For the first time along with many sculptures at the exhibition there are shown print graphics and applied art works from the collection of the Russian Museum. The exposition includes the great collection of the art works, connected with  theatricalities: costume studies and sketches of the stage design (generally for the performances of the Moscow Chamber Theater under the direction of A. Tairov). Several little known posters with the portraits of the figures of the world cooperation are presented at the exhibition for the first time. For these posters were used the drawings by P. Pavlinov, designed by V. Mukhina.
