Architecture is symbolised by a young woman holding a draft with a plan and compasses in her hands. She leans against the rusticated building corner. Since the Architecture statue makes a pair with the Seafaring statue, one can claim that it was devoted to the impetuous building of St Petersburg, which became possible thanks to the fact that Russia now had an outlet to the sea.
The original Architecture statue was also moved indoors in 2000 and a copy was placed in the Garden.
