Bonazzi. 1717 Midday is shown as a young Moor with a sun disc in his hair. He holds a wisp of arrows recalling the sun-s rays in his right hand and a lotus flower in his left. The shoulder-belt on Midday-s right shoulder is decorated with such signs of the zodiac as Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. A sunflower grows at his feet - a plant which always turns towards the sun.
