Julius Caesar. Sculptural bust

Julius Caesar, Guy (100-44 BC) was a prominent Roman commander, a statesman and a writer. Elected lifelong dictator, he introduced a number of reforms aimed at strengthening central power. He was killed in a plot organised by the Senate aristocracy.
The name of Julius Caesar was often mentioned in speeches pronounced to glorify the deeds of Peter the Great.
