Garden of Russian Sculpture of the 18th - 19th centuries

The Mikhailovsky Gardens - one of the pearls of landscape gardening, monument of national importance . In continuation of the traditions of the Summer Garden, the museum plans to create there a permanent exposition of Russian sculpture from its archives. All the statues will be recast in bronze so as not to endanger the priceless plaster and marble originals. The gardens themselves will in addition be restored as a work of Russian eighteenth - early nineteenth century landscape gardening.
