The complex of restoration works included reconstruction of the lost fountain.

The fountain of the Winter Garden was designed by Alexander Brullov and made from white marble by the sculptor Catozzi in 1849. It consisted of three bowls of various diameters, attached to a central pivot. The lower section was four metres in diameter. Water gushed in the lower bowl from the mouths of four pairs of dolphins.

Approximate cost of the works on reconstructing the fountain with engineering equipment - $ 154 230 .

The cost of the project works - $ 5 000.
The cost of the engineering equipment - $15 500.
The cost of the white marble - $ 95 230.
The cost of the stone works - $38 500.
